As a vital member of our Aviation team, you’ll have the chance to work on challenging projects where we’ll depend on your expertise, intuition, and leadership with the delivery of multiple aviation design projects from proposal development thru project close-out including the management of resources, subconsultants, tasks and work necessary for effective project delivery.

When you join us you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate and serve on as well as lead project teams and supervise the work of less experienced engineers and/or technical support personnel assigned to projects. You’ll review plans, schedules and prepare or review technical specifications, contract documents, CPM schedules, technical reports, and estimates.

We’ll look to you for oversight, coordination and evaluation on all design activities, implementation of client design standards, development of contract documents – drawings, specifications, reports, cost estimates, and equipment sourcing documents, design reviews, value engineering and quality management. You’ll have the opportunity to resolve and mitigate risk on a variety of complex problems such as conflicting design requirements, determining and meeting design criteria and difficult coordination requirements.  

Come demonstrate your business acumen through reporting schedule, cost, budget metrics, submittal tracking and overall design progress. You’ll develop permitting documents for client submission to regulatory agencies

Your rapport expertise will be utilized through developing strong client relationships and serving as a liaison between clients, agencies, subcontractors, and design teams, including FAA and state DOTs. Through client relationship building you will communicate regularly, attend meetings, prepare documentation and provide regular status reports on projects and tasks.

• BA or BS in Architecture, Engineering or equivalent related discipline

• Substantial years of experience successfully leading design teams on new and/or renovation aviation projects

• Previously led design teams of 10+ professionals for new and/or renovation aviation projects

• Ability to present data in an organized fashion

• Strong planning and organizational skills
