Autonomous Vehicle Software Engineer

Textron Systems is looking for experienced engineers to deliver disruptive autonomous system technologies which enhance the mission capabilities of our customers. We want engineers who enjoy applying new technologies such as machine vision and machine learning to multi-domain automation tasks and communicating their approaches to a wide audience.

From conceptual design through testing and delivery, your day may include designing, modeling and simulation, prototyping, integration, and field testing autonomous air, land, and sea-borne robotic vehicles and their subsystems. Check out our exciting platforms here!

Requirements:
Experience and background will determine job level; our requirements include:

• Bachelors, Masters, or PhD level education in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. We are looking for coursework in robotics, machine learning, or machine vision.
• Minimum of 2-3 years relevant work experience in designing, building, and software development for robotics platforms

Preferred experience in:
• Vision systems, controls, swarming in unmanned domains, or coding capability in more than one language
