Wheel & Tire Technician

Location: Livonia, MI

Hours: 6AM-6:30PM M-F.

Pay: $16-17.50/hour

Long term contract to hire position

Position Overview

We are seeking a Wheel & Tire Technician to join a growing team in Livonia, MI. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on mechanical or automotive experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment performing wheel and tire-related service work. This is a long-term opportunity with potential for permanent hire based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform wheel and tire installation, removal, balancing, and related service work
• Follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures accurately
• Inspect components and ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Use hand tools and basic shop equipment safely and efficiently
• Complete assigned tasks with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Support team operations and assist with additional shop duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

• Must have good organizational skills

• Must have good attention to detail

• Must possess the skills to read, comprehend, and execute written procedures

• Must have reliable attendance and the willingness to work overtime/weekends

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum 6 months experience' automotive technician / mechanic experience

• Must have well rounded technician / mechanical experience and knowledge
