What You'll Do

Program FANUC robots
Create and modify robotic programs, PLC ladder logic, etc.
File organization of all automation equipment programs
Optimize equipment and machinery to ensure that production goals are met
Set-ups, change overs and process control within established parameters
Assist engineers and team members with new equipment installation and implementation
Create BOM, part drawings and wire schematics for new projects and existing equipment
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams including complex automated system drawings.
Assist with the creation and updating of Eck Industries lock out procedures using the Brady Link 360 software.
Maintain continuous system operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying automation/robotic system components.
Support production operations after hours to ensure that Eck’s customer demands are met
Ability to maintain the highest level of safety, housekeeping, productivity, and quality with minimal supervision.

What We’re Looking For

Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
Associated degree in Electro/Mechanical Technology or Automation Engineering Technology from an accredited institution preferred
2 to 3 years of industrial automation experience.
