Our manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to support and optimize automated manufacturing systems at their Fresno, CA facility.
**Pay Rate: **100k-105k
**Shift: **All shifts
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize automated manufacturing equipment and control systems
Program, modify, and debug PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems
Support the installation, commissioning, and startup of new production equipment and automation projects
Diagnose and resolve electrical, controls, instrumentation, and automation-related issues to minimize downtime
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and productivity
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and technical documentation
Configure and maintain industrial networks, sensors, vision systems, and control devices
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent industrial experience will also be considered
3+ years of experience in industrial automation within a manufacturing environment
Strong experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar platforms)
Experience with HMI development, VFDs, servo systems, sensors, and industrial control systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical drawings
Experience with industrial robotics (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, or similar)
Knowledge of SCADA systems, industrial networking and machine vision systems
