Job Description

Our manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to support and optimize automated manufacturing systems at their Fresno, CA facility.

**Pay Rate: **100k-105k

**Shift: **All shifts

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize automated manufacturing equipment and control systems

• Program, modify, and debug PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems

• Support the installation, commissioning, and startup of new production equipment and automation projects

• Diagnose and resolve electrical, controls, instrumentation, and automation-related issues to minimize downtime

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and productivity

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and technical documentation

• Configure and maintain industrial networks, sensors, vision systems, and control devices

• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent industrial experience will also be considered

• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation within a manufacturing environment

• Strong experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar platforms)

• Experience with HMI development, VFDs, servo systems, sensors, and industrial control systems

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical drawings

• Experience with industrial robotics (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, or similar)

• Knowledge of SCADA systems, industrial networking and machine vision systems
