Duties and responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include the following tasks and other supporting functions to accomplish the same:
Direct and coordinate electrical and mechanical assembly department activities.
Support development of resources plans for both human and capital in both assembly and service roles.
Develop documented manufacturing standards for assembly and the manufacturing of equipment and tools at Persico USA, Inc. and align it with global Persico standards.
Provide guidance and mentoring to supervisors and leads to optimize and improve processes utilizing plan, do, check, act process steps.
Enforce compliance with specifications, codes, and job order requirements with local and labor and safety regulations.
Makes final sign off or designate responsible personnel for final checklist approval of assembly process and equipment.
Provides expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of assembly and service problems.
Create improvement plans and support other improvement activities at Persico USA, Inc.
Maintain up-to-date manufacturing knowledge and stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Confers with department supervisors to ensure assembly processes are feasible and resources available to support it.
Participate in review and approval of project designs and manufacturing process planning.
Lead development of customer services for Persico USA, Inc. for both after sales and warranty activities.
Support services to customers via planning, scheduling and on-site visits to complete the same.
Conduct individual and team coaching sessions to improve performance. Recognize team accomplishments.
Monitor KPIs and ensure actions are taken to maintain the same.
Perform direct subordinate performance reviews in conjunction with HR policies
Consult with vendors and continuously explore opportunities to improve standards, practices and materials used in assembly process.
Create Preventive Maintenance plan for all machines and equipment, create work orders and provide inputs to maintenance technicians for completing it.
Other duties, relevant to the position, as assigned.

This position requires work in office and shop floor environment.
Physical requirements
This position requires use of computer and other office equipment. Standing and walking is expected within ergonomic guidelines.
