We are seeking a skilled and experienced Control Technician/Maintenance professional to join our team at our facility located in St. Joseph, MI, 49085. As a Control Technician/Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's control systems and performing maintenance tasks to keep our equipment running efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize your expertise in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to program, troubleshoot, and maintain control systems.
  • Identify and resolve issues with PLCs and other control systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Apply your electrical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair electrical problems in equipment and machinery.
  • Create and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of our control systems.
  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and maintain records for future reference.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in control systems to continuously improve our facility's operations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming and troubleshooting is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience in creating and implementing preventive maintenance plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications or technical degrees are a plus.
