Automation Engineer

Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a leading manufacturer specializing in advanced plastic injection molding and automated paint finishing solutions. Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Engineering or a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to write reports, interpret blueprints, and effectively communicate with associates, management, suppliers, and customers
- Experience developing or improving manufacturing processes, including documentation and validation
- Familiarity with TS16949 initiatives preferred
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain process parameters for operations
- Develop or revise work instructions, check sheets, and other process documentation
- Conduct and coordinate system tests to evaluate and improve production efficiency
- Collaborate with equipment designers and manufacturing teams to develop cost-effective production processes for new products
- Oversee process design projects to ensure timely completion
- Maintain compliance with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements while sustaining a clean work environment
- Interface with suppliers, customers, and other necessary personnel
- Support continuous improvement and TS16949 quality initiatives
- Perform other related duties as assigned
