Top Requirements:
Two or 4 year degree in industrial automation, electrical engineering technology, or related field
Professional working experience diagnosing and repairing robotic or automated machinery
Experience assembling and wiring control panels for custom automation projects
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues with PLC-controlled systems, HMIs, and industrial control hardware.

We are looking for an Automation Technician for a permanent full-time position located in the Louisville, KY area. This is for a new warehouse that we are looking to get fully automated. This technician will be the main point of contact for automation- related issues, working closely with operations, maintenance, engineering teams, and external vendors to ensure maximum system uptime, reliability, and performance. Daily responsibilities include installing, maintaining, & troubleshooting automated equipment and control systems. It can be expected that this technician will program and calibrate PLCs, sensors, and robotic systems to ensure efficient and safe operation. They will also monitor system performance and provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for automation-related failures. This individual will need to collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve system performance, update documentation, and support process optimization initiatives.
