Job Summary:

As an Automation Engineer, you'll play a key role in optimizing and automating critical business processes by connecting our enterprise systems. You will report to the Director of Automation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain solutions that integrate our cloud services, ERP systems, and other business tools. This role is ideal for someone with experience in system automation and working with platforms such as ServiceNow and Microsoft PowerApps.

Detailed Description:

  • Design & Implement Automated Workflows: Develop and maintain automated workflows to optimize business processes across enterprise systems like SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
  • Integration of Enterprise Systems: Connect systems similar to SAP ERP, Salesforce CRM, and Microsoft Dynamics with ServiceNow and other tools to streamline operations and eliminate manual processes.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with business and technical teams to understand business needs and implement automated solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Cloud Integration: Integrate cloud-based solutions in AWS and Azure environments, ensuring seamless interaction between on-premise and cloud applications.
  • Troubleshoot & Optimize Processes: Address integration issues and continuously optimize automated workflows to improve performance and scalability.
  • Documentation & Best Practices: Create detailed system integration documentation, including runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and process automation best practices.
  • Support & Training: Provide support for integrated systems and contribute to training internal teams on automation solutions and new system functionalities.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in systems integration and process automation.
  • Experience in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and integration best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar for process automation.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and its integration capabilities, including the use of IntegrationHub.
  • Experience with API integrations, middleware, and integration tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially in multi-platform environments.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams to deliver automation solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft PowerApps and Power Platform for automation and app integration.
  • Cloud platform certifications (AWS/Azure) or related certifications in ServiceNow, SAP, or Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Background in workflow optimization and business process improvement.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools and how they can be integrated into automation workflows.
