Job Description

An industrial manufacturer in the Florence, AL area is hiring an Automation Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot and enhance control systems across its manufacturing operation.

What you would do:

• Program, troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems (Siemens and Allen-Bradley preferred)
• Optimize equipment performance through continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to reduce downtime
• Modify and improve HMI/SCADA systems as needed
• Assist with new equipment installations, upgrades and commissioning

What you need:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Experience programming PLCs, especially Siemens and Allen-Bradley
• Background in industrial automation, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industry

$120,000–$140,000/yr. Onsite, Florence, AL. Relocation assistance typically available.

You should be proficient in:

• PLC Troubleshooting Skills
• PLC Programming Experience
