We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Canandaigua, NY. Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs, Fanuc robots and other industrial automation equipment.
  • Design and develop electrical schematics for various automation systems.
  • Program and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
  • Utilize CAD software, including AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Solid Edge, for system design and modifications.
  • Program and integrate industrial robots from brands such as Fanuc, ABB, and Yaskawa Motoman.
  • Work with single and three-phase power systems, including 120/208/240/480 voltage systems.
  • Implement and troubleshoot vision systems and servo motors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and power systems.
  • Experience with CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Solid Edge.
  • Familiarity with industrial robot programming and integration.
  • Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and servo motors.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
