Automation/Controls Engineer

Job Description:

• Troubleshoot, program, and evaluate all automation equipment and control systems in the facility 
• Design solutions that meet process and control requirements within timeline obligations
• Maximize production, quality, and efficiency through better planned automation
• Controls project cost, quality, scope, and schedule to ensure delivery of projects within internal budgets
• Write and communicate project reports as necessary
• Participate in engineering design reviews with team and management 
• Program software and make modifications to automation and process control systems

Job Requirements:

• BS/MS in Engineering or related field
• 6+ years of experience in industrial automation and controls 
• Extensive experience with PLC's (Rockwell, Siemens, Ignition preferred)
• Experience designing and configuring HMI systems
• Proficient in design tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Plant 3D

You should be proficient in:

• PLC Troubleshooting Skills
• Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment
• PLC Programming Experience
• Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
