Job Description

We are seeking skilled Machinists with 4+ years experience setting up and operating Automatic Screw Machines for a 3 – 6 month contract onsite in WISCONSIN.

Project Specs:

• 3 – 6 MONTH duration onsite in WISCONSIN

• Pay Rate $38/hr

• 50hrs/week GUARANTEED

• $45 per diem (tax-free), 7 days a week

• Private hotel accommodations (we handle the booking)

• Must pass a background check and drug test

• Paid travel time

Responsibilities

• Set up and Operate Automatic Screw Machines and Hybrid Screw Machines to manufacture precision components from a variety of materials

• Interpret blueprints and GD&T callouts, FAIs, in-process inspections and SPC checks while maintaining tight tolerances and surface finish requirements

• Complete full machine setups including tooling installation, collet changes, machine alignment, stock loading, etc.

• Sharpen and grind cutting tools, troubleshoot machining issues, and optimize machine performance

• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and vision systems.

• Perform daily TPM activities including fluid checks, cleaning, lubrication, filter changes, and basic machine maintenance

Qualifications

• 4+ recent years experience setting up and operating Acme Gridley Screw Machines or similar multi-spindle screw machines

• Proficient in reading blueprints, interpreting GD&T, and performing precision inspections using standard metrology equipment

• Experience completing full machine setups, tooling changes, and tool sharpening/grinding

• The ideal candidate will also have experience with Hybrid Screw Machines such as ISAMs or NoCAMs
