Role Overview:
The ADU Technician provides technical and mechanical support for the Automatic Drilling Unit (ADU) shop, ensuring proper setup, maintenance, and operation of ADUs in collaboration with the Station 40 Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and implement ADU equipment in the FAL-USA shop, following best practices from other Final Assembly Lines.
- Oversee ADU qualification and support entry into service at supplier sites.
- Adjust and maintain ADUs, cutting tools, and drilling templates.
- Perform ongoing maintenance and repairs of ADUs.
- Provide guidance and limited training to employees using ADUs for the first time.
- Assist Station 40 and Back Shops leadership with technical problem-solving related to ADUs and associated tools.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanical or metals field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial or ADU maintenance experience (or equivalent mechanical vocation).
- Proficiency with PC and standard business software (Word, Excel, Acrobat).
- Strong flexibility, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.
- English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Travel up to 10%
