Currently we are partnering with one of the largest home builders in Florida. They are looking to add a detail oriented AutoCAD Drafter to their team. Our client is located in the north end of Sarasota County, have been around for about 50 years and have over 325 employees and growing.They have a wonderful culture, and compensation and benefits plan, reflected by the long tenure of many of their employees.

This role would be part of their dynamic and collaborative in-house Drafting team. This position would play a vital role in producing detailed residential construction documents and plan specifications for permits and customer options. The team is passionate about delivering an exceptional home-buying experience, from concept to completion.

This role focuses on technical drafting and plan accuracy-not architectural design or conceptual work.

Someoftheresponsibilitieswouldinclude:

• Produce construction ready production drawings based on executed sales contracts and approved standard plans

• Draftandrevisefloorplans,interiorelevations,andsiteplansusingestablishedstandardsandtemplates

• Createandmaintainas-builtdrawings,lotfits,andcommunity-specificsiteplans

• ApplyredlinesandrevisionsfromConstruction,Engineering,andFieldteamswithaccuracyandefficiency

• Maintain and update CAD standards, blocks, and libraries to ensure consistencyacross all plans

• Reviewdrawingsforcompletenessandcompliancepriortorelease

Must Have:

• 2–5 years of hands-on AutoCAD drafting experience
• Strong ability to interpret redlines, construction documents, and builder standards
• High attention to detail and consistency in drawing updates and document control
• Comfortable working in a production-driven, deadline-oriented environment
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and basic Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with Construction and other teams
