Job Overview:

Does selling automotive related products and services to automotive dealers and other industry customers sound of personal interest?

As a Sales Support Specialist (SSS) you will contribute to the continuing fast growth of Factory Motor Parts' businesses by

  • Calling upon assigned new and existing customers to better understand their business needs and how FMP can meet those needs.
  • Communicate specific marketing programs that would accelerate customer account growth and customer successes.
  • Provide appropriate feedback to Channel Marketing and Management relative to product, pricing and/or existing programs either positive or negative to improve future offerings by FMP.

A successful SSS possess the ability to conduct business in a professional and ethical manner utilizing effective communication skills and creative problem solving methods that results in a positive resolution for their customers while also capturing potential future opportunities.

To be considered, you must possess:

  • 2-3 years of successful, high volume inside or outside sales experience; meeting or exceeding assgned budgets or other sales metrics as assigned.
  • Auto parts experience is a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated abilityfor relationship building, problem solving, and negotiation skills with special emphasis on closing sales.
  • Work effectively and productively under pressure and thrive on customer outbound calling and selling and providing service beyond customer expectations.
  • Intermediate level computer skills including MS office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
