The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Transportation Analyst (Level 2) to join our team. This position is located in Mesa, Arizona. This position will be for 1st shift.
This role supports enterprise transportation and logistics across all business units, critical to the supply chain health, enabling production, and meeting critical program needs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Analyze transportation management processes to ensure they meet customer requirements
- Support function including tracking and tracing shipments, expedite shipment management
- Create cost estimates, and present transportation options balancing cost & schedule
- Prepare documentation to support routing and logistics functional requirements
- Interpret and apply logistics policies, processes and methodologies to support business initiatives
- Execute International freight transactions in accordance with Federal and Regulatory Agency guidelines
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience working in logistics or transportation
- 1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to interact with business partners in resolving problems, providing a high-level of customer service
- Experience with multi-tasking
- Possess interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 2+ years of experience with freight forwarding and/or transportation modes: FTL, LTL, International & Domestic Air Freight, Ocean, Small Parcel
- Bachelor's degree
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically, 2 or more years' related work experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc) preferred, but not required.
