Job Description

Summary: Responsible for direct assistance to designer with daily and project-based tasks. 

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Able to develop original design concepts for presentations
• Collaborate with designer to research trends and concepts
• Prepare line presentations, books, mood boards
• Responsible for all production details, including BOM and screen details
• Support team ideas and be able to collaborate freely
• Solid understanding of development process
• Must be able to communicate and see vendors to follow up on all orders
• Adhere to time and action calendar
• Stay on top of trends, silhouette and color
• Complete understanding of garment construction

Qualifications 

• 3-5 years design experience
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator a must
• Proficient with Microsoft Office a must, especially Microsoft Excel, Basecamp
• Must have sketching abilities in Illustrator
