SUMMARY
The Associate Supply Chain Program Manager is to assist the Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) in supporting their assigned project and/or statement of work and acts as the respective focal point. Provides guidance and coordinates with suppliers and internal stakeholders to mitigate issues and help secure performance to commitments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist SCPM with day-to-day tasks to include:
- Execute strategic goals, policies, and procedures; continually and actively seek opportunities to drive continuous improvement through business excellence.
- Execute program project plan in line with Programs and Aircraft production schedules for timely placement of purchase orders with suppliers in support of an executable plan.
- Ensure line of sight to sold terms, requirements, and deliverables; develop a project compliance and risk management plan for reconciliation.
- Manage and ensure supplier program milestones and payments reconcile with program expectations / requirements.
- Pro-actively manage supplier technical and program performance, collecting and analyzing supplier data, maintaining priorities; ensure timely issue resolution; conduct root cause and corrective actions and identify solutions for corrective action plans in terms of supplier performance to requirements.
- Participate in the sourcing strategy and contract development, gather industry intelligence; supports the evaluation of the SOW including terms/conditions; pricing, risk management; schedule and technical analysis.
- Represent the company to Ensure professional communication with customer representatives.
- Support lessons learned and issue / problem / opportunity process discipline improvements.
- Manage and ensure major suppliers have demonstrated executable program plans; supports design reviews and weekly action meetings / reports including risk profile.
- Maintain program budgets in alignment with sales contract and program /finance flow down; manage the EAC and performance to plan / expectations.
- Support sales bids and proposals by soliciting and analyzing supplier quotes and provide team with material dollars, lead-times, risk, terms and conditions and compliance positions.
- Assist in inventory management processes and controls; procedures; best practices.
- Monitor progress of assigned tasks and provide corrective action for schedule anomalies.
- Coordinate with other department leaders to produce a smooth and timely workflow to production.
- Set priorities in conjunction with the program schedule and production direction.
- Complete initial / recurrent training requirements in a timely manner.
- Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in Leading, managing, coaching, training, and indirectly guiding team members.
- Assign duties and examine work for exactness, completeness, and compliance.
- Coordinate with other Logistics personnel and the program / project teams in support of procurement activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education / work-based experience.
- 2 to 4 years of related work experience
- Effective organizational skills including the ability to prioritize and plan work.
- Strong research skills and the ability to work independently.
- Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office software and other company and discipline specific software applications.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours, when needed.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Read, write, and understand the English language.
- Read, write, analyze, and interpret complex contracts, legal documents, technical documents, engineering drawings, regulations, procedures, and manuals.
