Job Overview:

Who You Are & What You’ll Do:

  • Supply, Transportation and Warehouse collaboration that enables timely availability of WIP requirements
  • Develop strategies to maximize weekly production attainment, and position a flexible network as back-up sites are needed
  • Achieve and maintain operational excellence via development of robust reporting and analysis
  • Month on month operational metrics management to identify opportunities that drive improvement
  • Monitor the progress on achievement of the category KPIs in Gross Margin, service, and working capital
  • Schedule Line Purchase Orders tracking and adherence
  • Regional sourcing strategies that allow for optimal conversion location considering sourcing strategy of WIP and customer locations E2E
  • Lead monthly/ quarterly Run Strategy
  • Continually analyze the E2E category network and propose and execute step change and continuous improvement projects
  • Support complexity reduction in product portfolio and overall network
  • Mid to longer term forecast modeling and sensitivity to facilitate LTCP analysis
  • Develop long term capacity and constraint models for long term E2E network analysis and use optimization and simulation techniques to improve network performance
  • Able to generate and analyze forecasted inbound/outbound volume to ensure distribution strategy is unaffected (especially through seasonal peaks)
  • Identify, lead and support network capacity and miles reduction initiatives by driving Direct Ship from 3PM locations
  • Understand and improve the ways of working between Planning, Procurement, Logistics and the 3PM’s


  • Work with multiple cross functional teams in parallel and at times competing
  • Improve performance of operations that do not report to Unilever
  • Gaining commitment to improved performance and attainment for Unilever business

Key Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required– preferably in a supply chain or engineering field, and a master’s degree is preferred
  • Ability in collecting and managing large data sets via Access, SQL, or other data management tools
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead teams through complex problem solving
  • Needs to be comfortable with ambiguous problems and leveraging wide/diverse networks to solve
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying business needs clearly to senior stakeholder
  • Possesses an understanding of core supply chain processes: order to cash, planning, procurement, make, warehousing and transportation
  • Possess a strong understanding of supply chain finance and business tradeoff management
  • Have a strong appetite for proactive, informed risk-taking with a winning attitude
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
