Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
- Develop and execute paid acquisition strategies that drive memberships, email acquisition, direct product sales, and brand licensing initiatives across Hearst Magazines' consumer portfolio.
- Manage day-to-day paid media campaigns across paid social, search, and emerging acquisition channels, ensuring campaigns align with business objectives.
- Optimize campaign budgets, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and channel performance to maximize acquisition efficiency and return on investment.
- Lead paid distribution strategies for editorial, membership, and branded content, identifying opportunities to expand audience reach and amplify top-performing content.
- Design and execute creative testing plans to improve messaging, audience targeting, and campaign performance through ongoing experimentation.
- Track campaign performance against key performance indicators, prepare recurring reports, and translate insights into actionable optimization recommendations.
- Leverage AI tools, platform automation, and emerging technologies to improve workflows, accelerate testing, and enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with Audience Growth, Integrated Consumer Marketing, Creative, Product, Lifecycle Marketing, and Analytics teams to execute integrated customer acquisition strategies.
Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
- 1+ years of experience managing paid media campaigns for a consumer business.
- Hands-on experience with Meta, Google, and other paid acquisition platforms.
- Familiarity with customer acquisition metrics such as CPA, CPL, and ROAS.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and make actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for experimentation, AI-enabled marketing, and continuous learning.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing competing priorities.
- This role is based in New York, NY and follows a hybrid schedule of four days per week in the office.

The base salary range for this role is $66,300–$70,000. This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
