You will be responsible to:

The Associate Human Resource Generalist plans, designs, implements and monitors the human resource programs and policies to meet business needs. Some areas of focus include recruitment, , learning and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, equal opportunity and diversity and employee relations. 

  • As first point of contact, responds to employee inquiries providing available resources and responses in a timely manner
  • Develops communication materials including knowledge articles and employee portal content
  • Maintains and or updates systems and records including entry into the HCM system and employee file
  • Captures feedback and data using a variety of methods to generate ideas for continuous improvement
  • Supports delivery of a variety of processes within the employee lifecycle
  • Develops and delivers presentations
  • Analyzes data, produces metrics and identifies trends
  • Participates in process mapping and improvement activities
  • Participates in projects with the guidance of more senior colleagues 
  • Ensures all assigned tasks are delivered on time, safely, efficiently, reliably and in a cost-effective manner
  • Execute professional activities in compliance with GMP and HSE guidelines, internal and external requirements as well as promote the implementation and maintenance of Hovione´s policies, systems and procedures (COPs, HBR, SOPs and others).
  • Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and to comply with environmental, health & safety rules/procedures, regulations and codes of practice.

We are looking to recruit a Candidate:

You should possess:


  • Good working knowledge of the MS Office package 
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience in an HR role 
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management (undergraduate degree or community college diploma with concentration in HR), or equivalent experience
