RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY
Using a balance of account management and direct telephone outreach, the primary responsibility of the position will be to develop and manage the initial contact of interested trial patients, with the goal of providing education and care coordination. This position acts as the first point of contact in the pipeline for the interested patients and will work to educate them and the site to ensure both the needs of the patient and our clinical partner sites are met through proper education, and through obtaining and transmission of necessary documentation.
Work with Clinical Engagement Field Specialists on patient education planning.
Develops contact and education metrics based upon account plans to meet all weekly and monthly objectives.
Works with inorganic patient recruitment vendors to ensure patients are contacted in a timely manner and are additionally screened before being referred to our trial sites.
Follows-up with patient referrals generated and pre-screened by inorganic our patient recruitment partners to educate and assess interest of referred patient
Partner with inorganic patient engagement sources to identify pre-screened patients.
Educates engaged prospective study candidates on the aura6000 system, the OSPREY trial, trial participation and commitments, and benefits of trial participation.
Works with, and oversees the activities of the medical retrieval specialists to ensure timely contact and attainment of relevant approvals for medical record retrieval.
Ensures screened and educated patients are referred to the appropriate study site in a timely manner once documentation of prior OSA diagnosis is confirmed via the medical record.
Provide insight into needed marketing activities and materials, and manage the rollout of such activities when relevant.
Seek out opportunities for experience process improvement.
Responsible for forwarding calls pertaining to clinical information and questions to the proper channels (e.g., clinical research, partner sites).
Documents relevant information into the CRM and relevant patient portals.
Uses discretion and independent judgment in handling customer complaints received, while documenting and forwarding to appropriate administrative and quality staff.
Nurtures and manages patient relationships.
Works collaboratively with the cross-functional team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
This position will be remote and may require up to 25% travel.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent written and verbal communications
2 Years Inside sales experience.
Self-motivated and results driven
Highly effective in working objectively with a diverse group of people and must demonstrate communication, organizational, administrative and office skills
Proficient in data entry, verbal skills, computer skills and the ability to learn the department’s software system including CRM
Must be a team player willing to accept and promote organizational goals and function with minimal supervision.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, or senior management.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical solutions.
Maintain HIPAA patient confidentiality
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with medical devices, clinical trials, and or in the hospital setting is a plus.
Experience in Sleep Medicine a plus.
