Summary:

The Associate Director, Worldwide Commercial Strategy & Operations is responsible for leading a cross-functional matrix team to streamline and optimize operations and drive market engagement strategies to impact business performance. This individual will focus on developing innovative solutions to simplify operations across the Worldwide Established Brand Team and its stakeholders, identifying inefficiencies, and ensuring solutions are aligned with the portfolio strategy. The individual will work directly with the WW Commercial EB and Matrix Team leadership and gain exposure to the local markets across the organization. The Associate Director will be responsible for coordination of multiple concurrent projects and will be Project Lead on some of these important initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for simplification, apply appropriate level of rigor, propose solutions, and lead implementation across teams and functions.

  • Plan and facilitate the annual Commercial Established Brands Portfolio Prioritization refresh, including facilitating WW EB/Matrix Stakeholder meetings to develop the strategic summary, disseminate to the markets, and coordinate timelines for the annual portfolio refresh process.

  • In collaboration with WW EB Team members coordinate and support recurring and adhoc meeting activity.

  • Help facilitate sharing of knowledge between markets and WW EB/Matrix partners, including:

    • Dissemination of individual market learnings to other markets to enable quick response to market events for Established Brand indications.

    • Facilitate responses to requests for information from the WW EB/Matrix partners to the markets, with a focus on identifying more efficient knowledge-sharing methods to reduce the workload on the market teams.

  • Facilitate budgeting process, including annual planning and P1-P3 projections. Partner with the WW EB Team members to identify opportunities to reallocate resources as needed and ensure that the team meets their OpEx budget targets.

  • Support ad hoc strategic projects as requested by leadership (examples could include Business Case development, Web / SharePoint presence for WW Established Brands, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent; MBA is preferred

  • Marketing, sales, medical, GPS, or operations experience preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders up, down and across the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and design and implement multiple projects simultaneously

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully executing projects across multi-functional teams

  • Concise and impactful oral and written communication skills

  • Has demonstrated project management skills
