We are looking for a remarkable Associate Director who will serve as a Project Manager (PM) will be primarily responsible for managing the overall project(s) across multiple QMS processes. The PM will support Process Owners and Process Leads (who are the primary points of contact for the projects) in aligning their projects with appropriate timelines and resources.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Leading and Planning:

    • Ensure project prioritization activities are planned and executed to ensure alignment with work across Lifecycle Management (LCM), and in alignment with the overall Global Quality Systems (GQS) goals and objectives.

    • Leading, execution, control, and completion of the planning of the Lifecycle Management (LCM) activities (Fusion and non-fusion) activities to ensure they are delivered in accordance with the scope, timelines, and costs.

    • Ensures project objectives are identifiable, measurable, and realized.

  • Scope and Change Management:

    • Support execution of change management strategy and plan.

    • Identify cross-functional dependencies to support on-time task completion.

  • Risk Management:

    • Identify, escalate, and accelerate resolution of any identified regulatory and business risks.

    • Collaborate with the Global Process Owner, Global/Local Process Lead, and other internal stakeholders to manage expectations, identify and mitigate risks.

  • Schedule Management:

    • Direct coordination of standard tracking and oversight aligned with finance and procurement processes & procedures.

    • Provide forward looking tasks, deliverables, milestones on a weekly basis.

    • Maintain and provide project dashboard updates as needed to the GPO/PL, Program Manager, and Pillar Leads.

    • Serve as point person for aggregating and monitoring status across LCM projects and deliverables.

Role Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in arts or sciences is required. At least 7 years’ experience working in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated environment with project management experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage complex, cross-functional projects and balance priorities while meeting or exceeding expectations.

  • Exemplary leadership skills in a matrix environment as demonstrated by the ability to manage individuals and teams towards meeting goals.

  • Demonstrated success in managing project, team effectiveness, facilitation, and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and mentor team members.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of productivity, accountability, and energy.

  • Proven teambuilding skills and an ability to foster partnerships across projects and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Effective communicator and influencer working across the matrix and with senior leaders.

  • Continuous Improvement and External benchmarking experience

  • Exercises good judgment by considering costs and benefits of potential actions, the downstream impact of those decisions, to decide on the most optimal solution.

  • Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Must possess initiative with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Must be a team player who is willing to both to steer the team towards success, and fully support the team when others are steering.
