Raytheon - Advance Products (APS) is seeking an Associate Director, Program Manager (Development) to lead a highly visible and complex Technology Maturation Risk Reduction (TMRR) development program area. The program area is part of a rapidly growing franchise of programs within the Electro-Optical and Infrared Solutions (EOIRS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).

The selected candidate will lead and manage the day-to day program implementation, set the team vision, support and manage strategies and provide tactical direction for program implementation of multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the development of the current Technology Maturation Risk Reduction (TMRR) scope of work

  • Manage profit and loss, and Estimate at Completions (EACs) inputs

  • Coordinate and align interactions, expectation, and transaction between customers and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)

  • Support capture and proposal team activities

  • Manage risk, opportunity, cost, quality and schedule performance

  • Interface with stakeholders and government customers

  • Coordinate preparation and assure timely completion of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables across the multi-functional team

  • Present program status to stakeholders, at all levels, utilizing business and project management resources and procedures

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships

  • Travel to support domestic business engagements

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 12 years of relevant experience in Program Management, Program Integration, or Project Management

  • Experience supporting development programs

  • Experience using one or more of the following program management resources: Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, Scope Management, or similar business processes

  • Experience guiding cross-functional teams (to include, but not limited to, any combination of the following: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management (Contract Data Requirements List support), etc)

  • Experience engaging and reporting out to all levels of executive stakeholders

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite resources

  • An active and transferable Secret level U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance (customer approved Special Access Program (SAP) endorsement is required prior to start)

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Program Management Certification

  • Demonstrated results creating and maintaining strong executive level relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and internal peers

  • Experience guiding proposal efforts

  • Experience developing and implementing execution, coordination, and growth strategies for franchise programs

  • Effective interpersonal skills especially in team building and customer relationships

  • Excellent communication, dedicated work ethic, a willingness to learn on the job, and a committed to being an active participant in our team and customer focused culture

  • Demonstrated results creating and maintaining excellent executive level relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and internal peers

  • Excellent business savvy to proactively identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently, including cost/benefit analysis through processes

We Are RTX

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
