Associate Director of Operations, US Neurology Franchise
The Associate Director of Operations, US Neurology will be responsible for all sales operation aspects of the US Neurology Franchise. The person in this role will focus on planning, coordinating, and driving synergies and efficiencies across Neurology therapeutic area and support the successful achievement of business objectives. Responsibilities include but will not be limited to data management/analysis, Veeva CRM support, sales force deployment, sample operations, IC and contest analysis and design, and field communication. The person in this role will be a critical liaison between home office and field personnel.
Associate Director of Operations, US Neurology will report to the Head of Neurology Sales and is will be based in Cambridge, MA.
Role & Responsibilities:
Critical field liaison and leader within the Sales Operation And Planning (SOAP) team with objective of identifying and sharing best practices, process improvements, training needs, etc.
Lead coordination between field, brand, business operations and IT/IS on VEEVA enablement to maximize collection of field intelligence and user experience
Collaborate with data strategy & operations team to integrate critical data assets into field enablement platforms (i.e. VEEVA CRM, QLIK etc.)
Co-Lead field reporting platform development and evolution using Qlik (Compass Dashboard)
Triage, facilitate and coordinate resolution of field inquiries with Business Operations partners
Lead or co-lead all field deployment planning activities including UAT (User Acceptance Testing), customer targeting, call planning, etc.
Work with Business Operations, Sales Leadership, and Marketing Leadership in the development, communication, and implementation of incentive programs and contests; serve as important quality control in review of calculations and reporting
Partner with Insights and Analytics to align on field KPI tracking and business planning efforts
Manage external partners with ad-hoc and on-going projects including budget management, scope of work and budget planning
Drive operational aspects for quarterly business planning and business reviews including agenda creation, management of content, and final presentations
Initiate and lead yearly Business Review Planning for field driving collaboration and innovation across brand team and cross-functional matrix
Ensure that Franchise and functional leaders are current on all operational issues and process changes affecting the business
Facilitate collaboration and alignment on operational approaches across Neurology, and as necessary across other Sanofi Genzyme therapeutic areas
5 to 7 years of experience in field sales and/or sales operations in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
2+ years of demonstrated analytical experience with pharmaceutical data sources
MBA or master’s degree
Experience in Neurology therapeutic area
Familiarity with Neurology data and reporting platforms
Pharmaceutical launch experience
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal and external partners
Ability to communicate with clarity and impact verbally and in writing with all levels of management
Detail-oriented self-starter capable of owning initiatives from beginning to end and proven track record of achieving results
Strong project and profess management skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize
Demonstrated knowledge of and compliance with the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology regulatory environment
