As part of the Global Data Science and Digital, you will report to Senior Director of Digital & Analytics and work partner with cross functional stakeholders.
Support execution of long-term OBU digital and analytics strategy that integrates broader strategic goals and organizational initiatives to aid data-driven decision making and growth
Support implementation of pilot digital solution(s) that drives organizational value for implementation in different markets
Understand the brand strategies & important questions in the context of the OBU vision/objectives, then develop hypothesis, design and implement key analytics to address the business questions
Conduct above-market analytics to promote launch excellence and improve in-market performance
Identify best practices for data strategy, acquisition, and reporting; ensure data transparency across regions
Develop standardized analytics frameworks to guide regions and share best practices among insights and analytics community
Build relationships with business users of digital & analytics insights to support their requirements through communication, data governance and documentation
Implement thoughtful use of data assets and decision sciences methods to assist other OBU teams in answering challenging questions
BA or BS degree required. Master's degree in Computer Sciences, Business, or related field
Minimum 8+ years' related experience in commercial analytics and digital solution support
3+ years' experience in the bio/pharmaceutical or related field with direct responsibilities in digital, analytics, or data strategy and governance
Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action; excellent analytical skills and communicate complex issues in a simple way and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues & mitigate risks
Experience working with all levels of management and consulting with key business stakeholders. An ability to influence for greater outcomes
Knowledge of digital technologies and best practices of leveraging data to drive informative decisions
Proficiency in digital operations including channel optimization, ROI/value assessment, digital KPI tracking, campaign measurement, etc
Experience leveraging complex data to drive business decisions, hands-on experience in data science methodologies (predictive analytics, machine learning, patient level data triggers) using R, Python, SAS, etc.
Able to set priorities, develop and manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
Ability to build strong positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to manage vendor relationships and maintain an accurate budget
Exercises sound business judgment and can identify simple, effective, and practical operational solutions
Possesses a data-driven mindset, and makes decisions based on sound analytics and robust / continuous study of data
Driven to quickly arrive at answers to deliver on results
Excellent communication of ideas including written and in-person presentation skills in a persuasive and appropriate manner. Ability to frequently communicate changes and intentions with high level of transparency to all stakeholders
Ability to quickly learn Oncology therapeutic area and products
Deep knowledge and experience using pharma data sources to build statistical models
Knowledge and hands-on experience using Real World Evidence data including claims and EHR/EMR data assets to drive business decisions
