Associate Director, Global Corporate Brand & Cont, Performance and Integration Lead

The Global Corporate Brand & Content (GCB&C) team is looking for a talented marketing-communications professional to play a leading role in building Takeda’s global corporate brand awareness and reputation among key stakeholders. With an audience-first, data-driven approach, you will support the development and implementation of corporate marketing, brand activation, and reputation-driving campaigns, and leverage your strong marketing data/analytics expertise to help maximize the business impact of our corporate storytelling and content strategies across platforms and channels, both internally and externally.

Reporting directly to the Head of Global Corporate Brand & Content, you will help drive overall performance optimization and process integration for the team, fostering a cohesive, omnichannel way of working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic corporate marketing and reputation campaigns that highlight and differentiate Takeda with key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate a consistent brand experience for our key audiences by driving integrated omnichannel strategy, planning, measurement, and reporting.
  • Manage and develop creative content and brand activations with outside agencies that uphold Takeda’s brand voice and values.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support positioning, sponsorship, and awareness initiatives with owned and earned content.
  • Function as strategic partner to members of the GCB&C team to frame, evaluate, and answer key business questions related to the design, development, and evaluation of campaigns, content strategies and tactics.
  • Collaborate with team to ensure that assets, partners, tagging, and systems are in place upstream to provide the necessary data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and content.
  • Develop and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of Takeda’s corporate brand and content/campaigns.
  • Work closely with Takeda’s Data, Digital and Technology (DD&T) team to develop data visualizations and analysis, dashboards, and presentations that convey complex and insightful information in an understandable and accessible manner.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders inside and outside the team to ensure process flow and “full loop” thinking that infuses data/insights and learning into every step of the planning, development, and implementation process.
  • Oversee the integrated planning calendar for GCB&C with a focus on fully leveraging content and campaign assets across our corporate channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in marketing, advertising or market analytics, strategy, planning, or consulting, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of brand marketing and communications principles and direct experience leading global reputation-driving campaigns.
  • Ability to align strategic priorities and audience behavior change objectives to tactical campaign design across multiple dimensions (audience, channel, content, cadence).
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized and good judgement.
  • Proven ability to dig into the “why” of various results and present data driven insights and recommendations to optimize outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of marketing-communications measurement tools and metrics including brand lift, analytics, media, and social performance metrics.
  • High comfort sourcing, manipulating, analyzing, and visualizing data; ability to effectively present and defend analyses.
  • Understanding of compliance-related concepts that govern pharmaceutical communications and promotional marketing activities.
  • Innovative mentality with an eye towards evolving, testing, and learning new measurement methods and platforms.
  • Ability to influence others and drive alignment across diverse teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Superior written / verbal communication and presentation skills.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

149,100.00 - 234,300.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
