Raytheon Missiles and Defense is seeking a defense industry professional to coordinate business development activities and create new opportunities to drive top line growth for the Requirements and Capabilities Air Power organization. This person will lead business development efforts for all Air Power products sold through Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales in India, Asia and Australia and provide supporting pursuit and capture efforts to global customer pursuit and capture efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering new business solutions to Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales customers by leveraging Raytheon solutions and capabilities across India, Asia and Australia with supporting efforts to remaining global regions.

Specific responsibilities include support of capture teams to include leading and reporting on capture status, management of New Business Investment (NBI) resources, conducting market assessments, lead generation and qualification, customer relationship management development, and execution of capture strategies for all Air Power Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales products in support of business unit growth targets. This person will be accountable for relationships and interactions with International Government agencies and US Government agencies to develop new business, share information, and to immediately resolve issues as required in support of capture and contracted program execution. As a member of the Requirements and Capabilities team, you work closely with the other Business Units, Functional Business Areas, Programs and Product Area Directorates, and Business Development Executives (BDE). You will ensure collaboration and alignment of all strategies to drive customer satisfaction across the teams and will report directly to the Director of the R&C Air Power International Pursuits & Captures.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Execute business development strategy to meet growth targets

• Coordinate and execute a prioritized plan of action and milestones that focuses on closing pursuits inside of the current Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and the Long-Range Plan

• Collaborate internally and with our partners to plan, develop and execute capture strategies for all India, Asian and Australian international customer pursuits

• Coordinate and manage program associated New Business Investment accounts, capture and proposal gate 0-4 reviews, new business assessment and pipeline reviews, international reps and consultants, and customer engagements

• Draft and coordinate LOR for LOAs with customers through USG approval, congressional notification

• Coordinate and shape International Policy in support of Air Power FMS/DCS export approval with SAF/IA/DSCA

• Lead by example and provide professional and technical expertise to the business development team, AP mission area, and applicable customers; provide matrix pursuit and capture support to other international RMD mission area R&C teams

This position is based in Hawaii and will require travel both domestically and internationally. Up to 70% International, and 30% Domestic.

Qualifications you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, International Affairs, or related field

• 12 or more years of experience; preferably in government, defense, aerospace, or related industry

• Experience with customer technology domain operations and platforms

• Prior experience with Air Power products and foreign customer relationships

• Experience with USG policy, export and licensing process and with International Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales

• Experience presenting and communicating with customers and senior leadership

• Experience developing international capture strategies

• Experience with leading diverse teams

• Current US Passport

• Current US Secret Clearance

• US Citizenship

Qualifications we value:

• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field

• International Capture Certification

• Familiarity with competitor and threat weapon and sensor capabilities

• Ability to be creative, innovative, take initiative, and act with speed and agility for advantage

• Relevant government and/or industry experience with an established network across government to include SAF/IA, DSCA, HQ USAF, USAF Weapons & Digital PEO and SPO, PACAF & INDOPACOM

• Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) acquisition processes

• Understanding of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations

• Familiarity with the business development process, investment funding process and international strategic assessment

• Familiarity with requirements generation, resource sponsors, and/or program management experience

• Experience managing Representative and Consultants

• Previous experience with international business teaming agreements or partnerships

• Previous business development experience with industry

• Certified Capture Manager (or equivalent)
