The Associate Director, Airbus Helicopter Value Stream Leader, Sustaining Programs - is a Hybrid role working onsite in Rome, NY two days a week.

The Associate Director, Airbus Helicopter Value Stream Leader, Sustaining Programs is accountable for customer satisfaction and business performance, including associated Profit & Loss, throughout the product life cycle. The Airbus Helicopter Sustaining portfolio consists of products and services related to H145, H145, KUH, NH-90 and Tiger.

The Associate Director acts as the voice of the customer and drives customer satisfaction and alignment, while supporting the business unit’s long-term objectives, collaborates across functions and levels to deliver improved processes and performance to meet and exceed Sikorsky plans and expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Timely, effective, communication with team members, executives and customers

  • Lead cross-functional team, including contracts, engineering, quality and operations

  • Customer satisfaction and Profit & Loss (P&L) results across programs

  • Establish milestones, develop and own program plans, schedules and budgets, as well as monitoring allocation of resources

  • Execute margin expansion strategies to improve cost structure of diverse product portfolio and identify new business opportunities

  • Lead strategic product improvement development, obsolescence mitigations and negotiate fleet upgrades

  • Collaborate in contract negotiations, contractual changes and proposals

  • Drive customer affinity with Sikorsky and key stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR

  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Program management and aftermarket experience

  • Customer facing experience
