As an Associate Controls Engineer, you will join the Thermal Power Projects group, which delivers fully engineered control system solutions for power plants across North America. This team specializes in replacing existing plant control systems with Ovation and provides project management, engineering design, system integration, testing, and commissioning services to deliver comprehensive solutions to our customers.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Collaborate with a passionate, innovative team to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Learn our project processes and products to meet customer needs effectively.
  • Contribute to application design and engineering execution for customer projects.
  • Participate in global, cross-functional teams focused on process improvement initiatives.
  • Build and develop your technical capabilities through real-world project experience.
  • Provide technical leadership and collaborate with A/E firms and customers to identify solutions that address key concerns.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 0–2 years of related experience in an engineering environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within North America.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience designing or programming controls for PLC or DCS applications in the power industry.
