Job Overview:

Pay Range: $60,000 - $85,000/year

 

Position Summary

 

The Associate Project Manager supports the successful delivery of projects under the guidance of senior Project Managers and the Operations Manager. This role is responsible for leading smaller projects independently while contributing to more complex projects through assigned tasks.


The position also includes field-based project coordination activities, site leadership and administrative support to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope and budget.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Project Delivery Support

  • Assist Senior Project Managers with project execution, including:
  • Project kick-off meetings
  • Weekly status reporting
  • Customer communication
  • Project tracking, planning and scheduling
  • Project documentation
  • Track key project milestones and proactively adjust plans or resources to meet client requirements
  • Assist with change order documentation and processing

Budget & Resource Coordination

  • Support management of project budgets, including labor hours, materials and equipment costs
  • Coordinate installation technicians, engineering and programming resources in collaboration with other Project Managers and the Operations Manager
  • Communicate project status, schedules and expectations to employees and subcontractors

Materials & Logistics

  • Ensure all equipment and materials are ordered, received and staged prior to project start
  • Coordinate procurement through the LINX procurement team
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites

Field & Site Support

  • Provide on-site leadership and coordination as required
  • Maintain overall jobsite cleanliness, organization, materials disposal and recycling
  • Support Installation Technicians as necessary
  • Facilitate positive working relationships with other trades on site

Qualifications

Required

  • Proficiency with desktop computer software, including:
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Self-directed, with the ability to develop and maintain timelines for installation activities and product delivery
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and mathematical information
  • Willingness and ability to work on project sites and support field operations as required
  • Valid Driver’s License

Preferred

  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Experience in project management or project coordination
  • Experience in electronics integration and/or audio-visual installation
  • Exposure to working with installation technicians, subcontractors, or multiple trades
  • Familiarity with basic project budgeting, scheduling, or materials coordination
