Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Technician for our Assembly - Finish Paint department at our facility in Arab, AL (35016). In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly of components and products in the Finish Paint department.
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.
• Apply paint and finishes according to specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to the lead technician promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with one year of experience in painting in a manufacturing enviornment is required. Technical training is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of painting techniques and materials.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
