Job Description

A Project Engineer for PEMB buildings (Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings) typically manages the technical and coordination side of commercial or industrial steel building projects from design through construction.

Salary Range:

• $35-$47/HR + per diem is $115 per day if outside of 50 miles of site

Common responsibilities include:

• Reviewing structural and architectural drawings
• Coordinating with fabricators, detailers, architects, and contractors
• Managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Tracking schedules, procurement, and material deliveries
• Ensuring compliance with building codes and PEMB manufacturer standards
• Supporting estimating and project management teams
• Coordinating erection sequencing and field issues
• Using software like Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or ERP/project systems
