Weller Pools is a commercial swimming pool construction company specializing in large-scale aquatic facilities including municipal pools, resort amenities, competition pools, lazy rivers, splash pads, and specialty water features. Our projects are fast-paced, highly coordinated, and technically demanding.

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Assistant Project Manager to support our team of four Project Managers across multiple active projects simultaneously.

This is a growth-oriented role with strong promotion potential for individuals looking to build a long-term career in commercial construction Project Management.

Position Overview

The Assistant Project Manager will serve as the central support role for all Project Managers within the company. Because each Project Manager manages multiple projects concurrently, this position requires exceptional multitasking ability, time management, adaptability, and organization.

This is a fast-paced office position where priorities can shift rapidly throughout the day. The ideal candidate thrives in an environment requiring constant communication, coordination, and proactive problem solving.

Daily work will primarily take place in our main office, though occasional site visits or travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Support Project Managers across multiple active commercial construction projects

Manage and track project documentation through construction management software

Assist with:

  • RFIs
  • Submittals
  • Drawing/document control
  • Project record documentation
  • Safety compliance documentation
  • Subcontracts
  • Purchase Orders (POs)
  • Draft documents for Project Manager review and submission
  • Track materials, deliveries, inventory, and procurement status
  • Assist with subcontractor coordination and management
  • Support light change order estimating and pricing compilation
  • Maintain accurate project records and organized filing systems
  • Coordinate with field personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and clients as needed
  • Help keep projects on schedule and within budget through administrative and operational support

Requirements

  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Ability to adapt quickly and shift between projects/tasks efficiently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new Project Management software platforms
  • Experience with Procore is a plus
  • Construction industry experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Work Environment
  • Primarily office-based role in Orlando, FL
  • Standard day-to-day operations conducted from the main office
  • Occasional site visits or travel may be required

Compensation

Salary range: $50,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
