Overview

Radius is a science-driven fully integrated biopharmaceutical company that is committed to developing and commercializing innovative endocrine and other therapeutics. Radius’ lead product, TYMLOS® (abaloparatide) injection, was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of postmenopausal women with osteoporosis at high risk for fracture. The Radius clinical pipeline includes investigational abaloparatide injection for potential use in the treatment of men with osteoporosis; an investigational abaloparatide transdermal system for potential use in the treatment of postmenopausal women with osteoporosis; the investigational drug, elacestrant (RAD1901), for potential use in the treatment of hormone-receptor positive breast cancer out-licensed to Menarini Group; and the investigational drug RAD011, a synthetic cannabidiol oral solution with potential utilization in multiple endocrine and metabolic orphan diseases, initially targeting Prader-Willi syndrome.

Radius is looking to hire an Associate Project Manager & Administrative Specialist to work with our Captial, Strategy & Transactions team and the Office of the CEO.  

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage special projects, including working collaboratively with various functional groups to assure projects meet deadlines.
  • Collect and prepare information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and outside individuals.
  • Identify administrative needs for the team and initiate projects to support those needs.
  • Support team members in terms of calendar, travel, expenses, projects and priorities in a timely, detailed and organized manner.
  • Prepare/update presentation materials for meetings using Microsoft Office including but not limited to PowerPoint, Word documents, and Excel worksheets.
  • Make high-level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company. Handle details of a highly confidential and critical nature.
  • Maintain phone contacts and calendars to schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings.
  • Draft and edit correspondence, articles, reports and presentations; take and transcribe meeting notes.
  • Handle phone, email and postal mail inquiries and respond appropriately for team members as assigned.

Projects and Involvement: Representative Examples

  • Assist in the facilitation of consultant and vendor contracting for the team, as needed, including working with legal, procurement, and accounts payable.
  • Assist with processing consultant and vendor invoices, working with accounts payable.
  • Develop, track and maintain a group calendar will relevant meetings, timelines, milestones and events.
  • Assist with the onboarding and recruiting of new additions to the team.
  • Develop and participate in the preparation of internal and external communications materials for the group.
  • Support project work of CST team members, including conducting research and preparing presentations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently, be proactive as well as handle on-going and impromptu requests
  • Able to manage conflicting priorities and urgent demands with a flexible attitude
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and collaborative
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong project management/coordination skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • PMP preferred
  • Software: MS Office Suite, including Teams, expense management, procurement systems, project management software

Work Environment:
