Summary

 

This position works directly with the project management team, the engineering team and the operations team, assisting with the upload, maintenance and accuracy of ERP data, such as BOMs, item profiles, product configurations and routes. This position will also assist with creating purchase orders, reviewing build information, and creating production orders for the operations teams to execute.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Manages daily tasks delegated by the Manager of Production
  • Works within the ERP system, creating, profiling and maintaining product details.
  • Responsible for assisting the upload of product details from engineering into the ERP system
  • Creating purchase orders with the project management team when assistance is needed
  • Creating production orders with the project management team when assistance is needed
  • Fosters a culture that values family, innovation, collaboration and empowerment

Competencies and Skills

 

  • Experience with ERP operational data in a manufacturing environment is a must
  • Experience with reading mechanical and construction drawings
  • Experience with common construction materials and general mechanical assembly
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical problem solving and facilitation skills
  • Attention to detail in data entry is a must
  • Knowledge of computers and the use of computer programs including yet not limited to Word, Excel and Adobe PDF
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks along with excellent time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to effectively interface with others
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision or management
  • Ability to demonstrate and apply our workplace values

Education/Certification

 

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction, Manufacturing, Communication, Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Engineering

 

 

Experience

 

  • 1-3 years of industry experience, including Construction, Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Communication and/or Project/Account Management. Experience using Microsoft Office Products

 

 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

 

  • Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting may be required throughout the workday.
