This position will be a pivotal interface role in the Vogtle Project Engineering function. Required - Registered Professional Engineer in the State of GA
Your day to day:
-Interface internally and externally of the local deployed Westinghouse Engineering Project team with the Constructor, Owner, and Home Office staffs to clear barriers, communicate project schedule needs, and facilitate mutually agreeable design execution efforts for the Vogtle 3/4 construction project.
-Attend various construction meetings as the representative and voice of the engineering organization
-Review and assess construction requests for engineering assistance via the client work control program.
-Perform field walkdowns, assess field conditions, communicate discoveries to the engineering teams
-Review and assess turnover needs for various SSCs in preparation of system turnovers, functional, testing, and intermediate client milestones.
May also perform engineering preparation or review of proposed changes.
Additional duties as assigned.
Who you are:
• Registered Professional Engineer in the State of GA
• Documented Experience with 10CFR52 construction and design
• Documented EPC experience
