Extrusion Helper - Night Shift

Location: Lakewood NJ - 1650 Corporate Rd W, Lakewood, NJ 08701

Shift:  Monday – Friday 6:30 PM  – 6:30 AM

Compensation: $25-$28/hour based on experience

Safety Excellence

• Maintain a positive work culture that is centered on safety to support a plant safety incident goal of zero.  
• Achieve 100% safety participation every quarter.   
• Participate in all safety training and conduct periodic audits of LOTO and confined space procedures.    

Production Excellence: 

• Operate Production Equipment: Run wide or narrow cast extrusion film lines and slitting or rewinding equipment as needed.
• Prepare for Production: Set up blenders, review work orders, and adjust machine settings to ensure seamless operation.
• Ensure Quality and Efficiency: Monitor operations, inspect materials, and make adjustments to maintain specifications and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the workspace organized and spotless, meeting housekeeping audit standards.
• Collaborate and Communicate: Document and share updates on production and quality logs to ensure smooth team operations.
• Support Performance Goals: Contribute to safety, quality, productivity, service, and scrap reduction targets.

Required Core Competencies:  

• 1-3 years of machine operation or extrusion experience is preferred 
• Knowledge of film extrusion and converting a plus
• Organized
• Safety-focused
• Self-Motivated – Positive Attitude 
• Results Driven:  Accountable, Respectful, and Different
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office  (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Communication Skills (Written/Oral)
