We are seeking an
Assistant Low Voltage Field Technician
to support the installation and maintenance of public safety and cellular Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). This role involves working in the field alongside engineers, project managers, and installation teams to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver equipment and materials to job sites
- Assist with installation and termination of cabling and connectors
- Work with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and customers during installations
- Use test equipment and assist with basic system troubleshooting (training provided)
- Conduct site walks and surveys to support project design and troubleshooting
- Track materials and maintain job documentation
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory
- Travel to job sites as needed
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
Previous low voltage or cabling experience
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders (6–14 ft)
- Willing to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
Pay:
$18 - $24/hr, depending on experience
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 1st shift hours
