We have an opportunity for an ambitious, qualified individual who is looking for an opportunity as an Assistant Controller at our Clyde, Ohio location. 


GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

The Assistant Controller is a key member of the finance team, responsible for assisting with the financial management of Rever Plastics Systems, LLC, with a focus on manufacturing analyses. 


What You’ll Do:

· Maintaining standard cost files and analyze cost drivers.

· Track fixed assets and managing capital project spend.

· Monitor and analyze leases for compliance and reporting.

· Assist with month-end journal entries and account reconciliations.

· Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as well as ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects.

· Participate in the annual budgeting process and strategic financial planning.

· Support interim and annual audits with accurate and timely documentation.

· Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities.

· Assist with ad hoc projects to support leadership and drive performance improvement initiatives. 

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

We are looking for someone with both technical expertise and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in, Business, Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years’ of progressive finance/accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of standard costing, ERP systems, and internal controls.
  • Experience with IQMS and Planful/Host Analytics or similar applications is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc.) and solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • A passion for process improvement and attention to detail.
  • A commitment to understanding the business operations and helping improve financial performance.
