As an Assembly & Test (AT) Manufacturing Systems Change Engineer your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The maintenance of manufacturing master data in compliance with company policies, workflow definitions and change management rules and expectations.
  • Maintain and develop an expert level knowledge base with respect to the AT manufacturing systems, including but not limited to key Micron in-house solutions, Siemens Team Center, Siemens Op Center (Camstar) and Critical Manufacturing.
  • Liaison with IT. business and manufacturing to understand requirements and collaborate on system configuration integration, updates, and changes.
  • Assist in deployment of changes and improvements as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of PLM core competencies, especially as they relate to the management of changes in the manufacturing line and master data.
  • Communicate changes to the network as defined by established business processes.
  • Responsible for supporting and leading project tasks.
  • Maintain system configurations to meet defined expectations and business rules with quality and accuracy as paramount considerations.
  • Support and maintain the systems change management processes.
  • Solve customer issues on systems and configurations.
  • Liaison with AT Systems Frontier Team on continuous improvement activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and IT department to test and verify changes and improvements.
  • Track, report, and drive improvements using metrics designed to measure effectiveness of the change management process.
  • Update and create key documentation to reflect changes, as necessary.
  • Train customers, support teams, and the business on system changes, new functionality, new change processes, etc.
  • Team with IT and Micron security to ensure the appropriate level of system access is made available to the correct team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
  • At least three (3) years experience working with manufacturing controls systems and/or master data management
  • Experience with Siemens Team Center, Critical Manufacturing MES, MAM, ATLAS, WWMS, CTS
  • Project management experience
  • Database skills with SQL scripts and stored procedures a plus
