Snelling Talent Partners is partnering with an established metal fabrication and manufacturing company in Washington, MO, seeking dependable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Assemblers to join its first-shift production team.
This position involves assembling metal components and finished products, operating hand and power tools, performing quality inspections, and supporting daily production operations.
The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing or assembly experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble metal parts, components, and finished products according to work orders and production specifications.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic manufacturing equipment.
Read and interpret work instructions, assembly diagrams, and basic technical drawings.
Use tape measures, rulers, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and accuracy.
Inspect finished assemblies for proper fit, quality, and defects.
Identify and report damaged materials, defective components, or production issues.
Assist with material preparation, handling, and packaging of finished products.
Maintain production efficiency while meeting daily quality and productivity expectations.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
Work closely with production team members and supervisors to complete assigned tasks.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, metal fabrication, or mechanical assembly preferred.
Experience working with hand and power tools.
Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of assembly processes.
Ability to follow work orders, written instructions, and production specifications.
Familiarity with quality inspection procedures and manufacturing safety practices.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a production team.
Willingness to learn new equipment, tools, and manufacturing processes.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
Ability to perform repetitive assembly and production tasks.
Ability to bend, reach, lift, and handle materials throughout the shift.
Ability to safely lift and move materials as required by the position.
What We Offer
Competitive hourly pay of $18.00–$20.00, based on experience.
