Assembly Technician - Temp. Assignment - Lake Orion, Michigan
Day Shift position: 7:00am start time, weekend work could be required

Job Summary of the Assembly Technician - Temp. Assignment:
The Assembly Technician - Temp. is responsible for hands-on assembly of prototype parts for battery pack systems. This is a temporary contract position with our customer.
Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician - Temp. Assignment:
- Hands-on individual contributor for the successful assembly and building of products to meet customer requirements and expectations
- Assemble products to customer requirements and company goals
- Assemble highly complex mechanical and electrical components
- Report back to Lead Prototype Build Technician issues encountered to eliminate future production problems
- Perform preventative maintenance/maintenance activities to support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Participate when required in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and work instruction reviews
- Identify and support continuous improvement projects (e.g., cost reduction, efficiency improvements, etc.)
- Support other Prototype areas as required
- Support multiple facilities in other states
- Data entry into multiple platforms
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Adhere to and support compliance with ergonomic guidelines
- Follow and adhere to all safety procedures and protocols
- Adhere to federal and state regulations
- Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
- Predictable and reliable attendance
Position Qualifications of the Assembly Technician - Temporary Assignment:
- Minimum of one (1) year manufacturing or mechanical experience
- Experience in electrification assembly line/high voltage/electrical component handling/battery manufacturing preferred
- Experience with soldering preferred
- Working knowledge of quality systems preferred
- Able to work in a flexible team environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/SharePoint is preferred
- Must be able work various shift schedules; may need to work overtime and/or weekends
