Job Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is now hiring Assembly Technicians for a cutting-edge manufacturing company in Valdosta, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and working with advanced technology in a fast-paced production environment.
What You’ll Do
Assemble and install vessel systems, harnesses, and sub-assemblies
Perform testing and inspections on completed assemblies
Read and interpret assembly diagrams and technical documentation
Conduct quality checks to identify defects or inconsistencies
Complete production and process documentation accurately
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Use proper PPE, tools, and material handling equipment
Participate in continuous improvement and team meetings
Assist with prototype builds and new product development
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
1+ years of manufacturing, assembly, boat manufacturing, or related experience preferred
Ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Basic computer skills required
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with OSHA and manufacturing safety standards preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the shift
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly
Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
May require occasional overtime or weekend work
Location: Valdosta, GA
Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 7 AM - 4 PM
This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity
