Position Overview

StaffMode is hiring Electrical & Mechanical Assemblers at all experience levels for our growing production team in Shreveport. This hands-on role involves building high-quality mechanical and electrical assemblies and systems.

Pay & Schedule

• Base Pay: $18.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience and shift)- Entry-level starts at $18–$21/hr

  • Experienced assemblers can earn up to $28/hr

• Shift Options:- Day Shift (1st): Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

  • Night Shift (2nd): Monday – Thursday, 5:30 PM – 3:30 AM (+$3.00/hr differential)
  • Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday, 5:30 AM – 5:30 PM (+$2.50/hr differential)

• Overtime available

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components and systems using blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures, calipers, and measurement devices for precise assembly
• Perform electrical wiring, soldering, conduit installation, and component connections
• Test assembled products, troubleshoot issues, and verify functionality
• Conduct quality inspections to meet industry standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Accurately record labor and production data

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
• Mechanical aptitude and/or electrical interest
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and instructions (training provided for entry-level)
• Comfortable standing and walking for 8–10+ hour shifts
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Reliable team player with good communication skills

We welcome both entry-level and experienced candidates. Prior assembly, mechanical, or electrical experience is preferred for higher pay rates, but not required — full training is provided for motivated beginners.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Must pass a urine drug test
• No felonies within the last 10 years
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must meet physical demands of the role (standing/walking majority of shift)
