Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a manufacturer near Knox, Indiana that's hiring for an Assembly Technician. We're looking for candidates with manufacturing experience and mechanical knowledge. More details are below!
DIRECT HIRE
LOCATION: near Knox, Indiana
SHIFT: First (4 10-hour days)
PAY: 20-30/HR
Responsibilities:
Keep your work area clean and organized for efficient work.Use forklifts to move materials and complete tasks.
Assemble hydraulic parts using proper tools, torque settings, and thread sealants.
Follow blueprints or schematics to build products accurately.
Log parts and work time in the time tracking system.
Help with packing, shipping, and receiving when needed.
Follow detailed assembly steps carefully and correctly.
Keep track of tools and supplies; request more if needed.
Do quality checks and fix any issues found.Learn other tasks by rotating through different jobs in the department.
Follow safety rules and help maintain open communication.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of mechanical assembly experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Trade or vocational school experience is a plus.
