Assembly Technician with DRB In-Bay Solutions

DRB In-Bay Solutions, a DRB Company, is a business solutions company that provides technology and marketing support to enhance the consumer’s experience and the operational efficiency of a car wash. We are looking for a skilled, friendly and responsive Assembly Technician to join our growing company.  The Assembly Technician   performs all tasks involved in the production and testing companies’ electronics’ products. This includes pulling parts or subassemblies, building units or subassemblies to work order or as directed by Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits, to ensure production and testing is as efficient and safe as possible.

What will our Assembly Technician do?

• Reads work orders and performs work as assigned by Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager.
• Build, test and trouble shoot main and subassemblies within the standard rates set by company’s electronics.
• Program or update programs and test all required assemblies or standalone equipment as stipulated by Engineering.
• Test all Vendor or in-house parts and sub-assemblies to insure functionality.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment.
• Fill out and maintain all required paperwork for the building and testing of all units, Sub-assemblies or components as required by DRB In-Bay Solutions Electronics or law.
• Notify Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager of any mechanical or material issues.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

The right candidate will have:

• High school diploma required.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an assembly/production test environment relevant to mechanical and electronic devices. Strong mechanical/repair background a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Aptitude for learning new software programs.
• Strong verbal communication skills and detailed oriented.
• This is a full-time role located at our Elkridge, MD office.

• Manual dexterity to operate general office equipment, such as phone, computer, printer, scanner, copy machine and fax.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
